Project
Aindy
Aindy is a personal productivity agent. It runs across your calendar, inbox, and task list, and you can message it on the web or in Slack.
I was inspired by local coding agents to build something that ran in the cloud, kept persistent context, was accessible from anywhere, and could use whichever AI was best for the task.
Instead of a blank chat you re-brief every time, Aindy already knows your projects and will message you with suggestions, the way an assistant would.
Learnings
An assistant has to live in the tools people already use (Slack, WhatsApp, calendar), not sit in a separate chat they have to remember to open. The configuration has to disappear: OAuth for Calendar and Todoist, memory in a database, no config file, closer to Lovable than to Cursor. Staying model-agnostic meant Aindy could use whichever AI was best for the task while that same memory followed you everywhere.
