GTM Analyst — PMAI

Pioneering Minds AI is an NYC nonprofit for people building with AI. We empower early stage teams and aspiring founders with the network, knowledge, and resources to grow their venture.

As a GTM Analyst, the work has two parts: running community events, and GTM consulting where we work with startups to develop their go-to-market playbook.

Community events

PMAI runs workshops, pitch nights, hackathons, and panels across New York. Think public GTM workshops, a second track for later-stage founders, a VC pitch night, product management in the age of AI, cofounder matching. Typical events draw 100–200 registrations and about a hundred in the room. Partners have included Cooley, Capgemini, and Lair East Labs. The point is not a calendar of mixers: it is to democratize the knowledge of selling, shipping, and finding collaborators.

GTM consulting

In parallel, PMAI works with early startups that have a product and no motion. We help define who the customer actually is, what they do instead of buying, what is already working, what is not, and the metrics that prove a channel.

Partners on these ventures include:

• An AI branding tool that acts as a company's "brand brain" to generate campaigns and content
• An Internet of Things (IoT) company that collects real-time telemetry for manufacturing facilities
• A spatial data company that builds training-ready 3D datasets for robotics and physical AI

In addition to identifying ICPs, adjacent competitors, positioning, channels, and key metrics, Pioneering Minds AI will also help with execution on proposed strategies.
